On March 29, 2010, the Company hosted a conference call with the U26 negotiating committee. The Company said that they were sending a notice to the Union that the last contract offer is their best and final offer. The Union received the notice later that day. The Union had asked to bring in a Mediator to help resolve differences, but the Company was not willing to try. The Union negotiating committee has voted to send the package out for a vote. They feel that the offer is the best available at this time. The committee also voted to recommend a yes vote. Business Manager, Steve Miller will be sending out a letter with some information to members. Each local will be holding meetings to discuss options and vote.
